nce your breasts stop becoming engorged and you become less inhibited about doing it in public, it is one of the easiest things you can do. I don’t have to carry around bottles, I don’t have to carry around formula, I don’t have to refrigerate.

o be honest, the breastfeeding came about because it was the cheapest thing to do at the time.

have formula fed and I have breastfed and believe me, it’s easier to breastfeed.

reastfeeding is much easier, much easier. No bottles. You don’t have to get up in the middle of the night and go get a bottle and warm up anything. Just pull it out!

he wakes up three times, but she doesn’t cry, she doesn’t make “rinchas” nothing, she wakes up, I give her my breast, I open up my top and I give it to her, and she remains tranquil, and I hug her, and I rub her little head, and her hands, and sometimes she loves to put her head right in the nook of my elbow.

t’s just so natural – it’s the only way to go. What would I have done a hundred years ago? No formula! I’d much rather pull her out of her bassinet at night and let her lay with me, and let her feed, than have to get up and go mix a bottle with formula.

Moms talk about when to stop breastfeeding

t first I wasn’t quite sure how long I was going to breastfeed him. I thought maybe fifteen months, because a lot of people say, “Oh, he’s gonna bite and it’s gonna hurt.” But that’s not always the case. Because when he got teeth it wasn’t bad at all. He only bit me a couple of times, when I wasn’t paying attention to him like I usually do. Now he’s two years old and he doesn’t bite anymore.

feel like there’s so much pressure in this society to make kids grow up. I hear, “He has to grow up!” He’s been on this earth for seventeen months! What is this huge pressure for him to grow up?
