Breastfeeding Success: Getting Started
In the beginning - It can be hard! It's ok to feed your baby in public!
It's so natural - No bottles!
going back to work intro text
  getting ready
• Let your employer know that you want to breastfeed when you return to work. If you can, take a look at your worksite to see where there might be a private place for you to pump your milk, and make sure there’s an electrical outlet if your pump needs to be plugged in. Also, find out where you could store your milk, or bring an insulated bag to keep your milk cold during the day.

• If you know who your child care provider will be, talk with them about your plans to breastfeed your baby and provide pumped milk.
  how WIC can help (pics)
WIC can give you information for your employer on the “Lactation Accommodation” Law.

• Your WIC counselor can give you suggestions for talking with your employer about expressing your milk at work.

• Ask at WIC if you can chat with other mothers about how they pump their milk while they are at work.

• Some local WIC agencies loan pumps to working mothers. Find out if your local WIC office provides this service.
